August Smart Lock Z-Wave Issues?

Alarm.com ended support for new August Smart lock installations as of June 21, 2021. August released a new generation of the Pro which if I recall had some compatibility issues and support was dropped. Supported locks are listed here. Danalock is one of the models.

Support for August Smart Pro locks ended in 2021. Due to changes to their newer models they are no longer compatible.

Various rules can be created for compatible Z-wave devices connected to your system. Disarming the alarm based on unlocking a lock is a rule that can be created if you have a compatible lock.

The alarm panel is a Z-wave hub, you do not need a second one. Third party Z-wave hubs do not integrate with Alarm.com.
