how should the cellular antenna be mounted? can it stay inside the 2gig control panel box? if not, how do you normally mount it so you don’t see it?
when i do a walk test, keypad one sensor gets triggered without doing anything. is that supposed to happen?

Generally speaking, when we do a full service installation, we drill or cut a hole in the wall behind the panel and put the antenna in there. The antenna can stay inside the panel if necessary, but you may run into an issue where there is some signal interference.
Keypads and Image sensors will automatically trigger during a walk test without any prompting.
Break out the tab marked “antenna”, cut out area with a knife/keyhole saw…antenna goes behind panel in wall on 3G radios.
