All of S-Line sensors went offline simultaneously

Looks like an issue with the supervisory signal.

All of my S-Line sensors (including CO/Fire) went offline at the same time. I have tried the following:

  • Manually triggering the sensor brings it back for like an hour but then it goes back to (?) status
  • Rebooted the panel multiple times
  • Checked that the white antenna wire is not pinched.

All Power-G sensors work fine and the daughter card test returns success.
What could be the issue?

Thanks!

It looks like that condition has since cleared in Alarm.com. Did it clear from any specific troubleshooting step?

So here’s what I did:

  1. Manually triggered all sensors (including the CO/Fire)
  2. Rebooted the Panel
  3. Removed the power supply and reconnected it.

It’s been about 12 hours since I did that and I don’t seem to have any supervision errors now. Does this mean this is resolved? Ideally I would like to get to the bottom of this and see what caused it.

Offline refers to a failure of sensor supervision signals.

When all sensors experience this around the same time, that suggests the panel radio experienced an issue, or there was interference. Usually a reboot can help resolve it.

Underpowering the panel is a potential cause, and with the IQ Panel checking that white antenna and making sure it is run out of the back of the panel into the wall is necessary.
