Hi I was wondering if it would be possible to wire a dsc or amseco outdoor siren to a z wave lamp module and program it to activate on alarm?
Most sirens activate upon receiving 12VDC power. As long as you wire up your siren with a 12VDC transformer and plug it into the appliance module, you will be able to create a rule on Alarm.com that the appliance module with “turn on” if the system alarm. Note that you will not be able to use that outlet for anything other than the siren because it will be constantly blaring unless you unplug it first.
