I’m looking for the best z-wave option for use with Alarm.com on a gate operator. The gate hardware has a dry contact input for button control, so I just need something that creates contact closure, but I’m held up on the position sensor for it.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Also, using a Qolsys IQ2 panel.
Z-Wave sensors would not be compatible with Alarm;com, only devices such as lights, locks, switches, etc.
The only gate controllers that are compatible with Alarm.com are MyQ devices.
LiftMaster® Security+2.0™ gate operators (models CSW24V, CSL24V or LA500) are compatible with MyQ® technology and can be controlled through Alarm.com. Remote control of these gate models through Alarm.com only requires the LiftMaster MyQ Internet Gateway (828LM).
