Text notifications of changes in my system status are very delayed over the last week—from several hours to more than 12 hours. They prior to about a week ago, they were immediate. Is this an ADC issue?
There is a known issue with the AT&T network carrier currently which is causing a delay in text messages. ADC dealer notice is posted below:
“Alarm.com has been made aware of an issue with the AT&T network which may result in delayed or failed text notifications to AT&T phones as well as slower than usual command responses from accounts using AT&T modules. You may notice that successful Alarm.com text notifications will appear to come from various “from” addresses.
We are working with the carrier to resolve this issue and will give an update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience as we address this matter.”
There is no definitive ETA but this should be resolved soon.
