My 2GIG Go!Control panel is almost 3 years old. Do I need to worry about firmware updates?
It is never a bad idea to keep your panel up to date on firmware. General improvements and bug fixes are included in most updates. I typically recommend doing so every once in a while.
That said, the biggest changes you will notice from one version to the next will be compatibility additions, so if you are not looking to add new equipment given compatibility by recent firmware, there is less urgency to update.
